Jul 6, 2021 · 2013 XF Sportbrake. Occasionally, an Air Suspension fault will be displayed, sometimes, Adaptive (something) fault as well. When this happens, the driver side rear is very high, whereas the passenger side rear is very low. Cycling the ignition will clear the fault and the rear will settle down correctly, until the next occurrence.
Dec 13, 2016 · I have a 1985 XJ6 Series III with the Delanaire Mark II climate control system. I’m trying to remove the mode control (off-low-auto-high-defrost) switch. I can remove its mounting screws but can’t figure out how to get the switch past the console metal that surrounds it and would be grateful for any tips or guidance someone can offer.
Nov 5, 2017 · Reset the Steering wheel adjust (it defaults back to the highest position) Reset mirror dip in reverse. Once the engine has warmed up, shut it down and restart. Leave it running for a further 2 minutes. Restart again. Put the car in “D” and hold it on the brake for 2 mins.

Oct 3, 2020 · Posted October 3, 2020. Hi Wal. First port of call with the XF when you have any warning lights is to check the battery state of charge. These are VERY prone to all sorts of wierd problems if the battery is even a little bit dodgy. From experience with the Saab 95 the usual cause of a christmas tree on the dash is an ABS sensor fault.
Jul 1, 2019 · New Jag X-Type owner. Climate control problem. When I set temperature to "Lo", I get nice cold air from the passenger's vent but barely cool from the Driver's side. Air con was serviced rencetly and is perfect.
Jun 20, 2009 · Service Instruction: 1 . Insert key into ignition barrel. 2 . Press and hold the Reset switch (located on the Trip Computer Switchpack). 3 . NOTE: The reset switch has to be released immediately after the ignition is switched 'ON'. This is critical to enable the rest of the procedure.
